WIP: sea buddies - almost finished... finished four years later

"My Sea Buddies quilt is coming along nicely, but it is smaller than I wanted it to be.  I first thought to add a series of borders, but I had done that in another quilt and wanted to try something new."

Oh my... I wrote that post in 2016. It is well past time I finished it. 

A lot has happened in four years.

Thankfully, I finished the little quilt some time ago. And I took a photo and sent it to my Mom (which is my routine). Like pretty much everyone I know, when I accomplish something important to me, I need to tell my Mom. Perhaps it is our way of letting our Moms know how thankful we are that they put-up with us. At least that's my take.
